So I have been creating a website to show my work (almost as a portfolio) so I'm looking for a creative but professional look to my website. Which tab and text do people think looks best for this?

3rd one down or the top one depending upon the 'feel' of the site. Nice work though.

Thanks for the reply.

I was thinking the 3rd one down as well, but I thought it would be worth getting feedback.

Well so far I'm kind of getting to grips with it all as it's my first website I will have designed but I like the idea of a welcome page on something that's trying to be more personal so I have this so far as my welcome page;

I don't know whether to use the links to "Photography" and "Graphic Design" as normal text with hyperlinks or as tab's. Any ideas?

With the design that you have at the moment I would say leave as is, you cold perhaps work the tabs into the main elements of the site though (or not).
