Hiya guys,
Im new to the whole Photoshop design stuff. I have the whole of CS5 Extended Suite so i am ready to go off and learn, but the only thing is i dont have a clue where to start? If someone could point me in the right direction then that would be really much appreciated.

Hi MrLaceey and welcome to the forums. Well you sure jumped into the deep end all-right. Where to start? Having opened up crispy packaging (or more likely downloaded it) start with the manual. Don't get bogged down in it though, you won't understand what a lot of it means. Give yourself a chance though by learning the tool palette and what they do and learn about layers.
Photoshop can pretty much do what you want, so you have to ask yourself, what do you want to do?

Well obviously i want to get good at design graphics work. I used to play around with CS2 3 years ago, i used to be pretty decent at it but then i just stopped one day for some reason lol. So i have a rough idea still on the Tool Palette and Layers, i have the CS5 Extended so i shall be learning everything, Thanks alot. |
