Hello Everyone,

I am hoping to purchase some expertise in fixing a rather difficult problem with an old WW1 photo, of which whom happens to be my great uncle Charles.

It looks like the photo has been damaged by either a coffee or tea spill, and unfortunetly occurs across the face, through the eye. I have tried (believe me), but I just cannot get the shading right in the face, and the eye and nose has me stumped.

Is there anyone willing to have a go at it, and if so please let me know a reasonable cost - the rest of the photo is easy and I can do that no problems.

I have a rather large file of 253MB ready for upload if needed, and the link to media file is a 19MB one if you want to play around, which you can find below:

http://www.mediafire.com/i/?c7p8yycchitdcs1

Hope you can assist!

Kindest regards to you and yours.

Aye up, heres my attemp, was quite a big job considering wha I had to do on the face and getting it to look right.

If not too much can remove the watermark for $100 cause of the time taken for doing the work, would you be interested?

Had a go 20mins work... Of course on an original more time would be taken i.e. the 253mb file!

Working on the full file but if you choose it, you have to send me receipt of some payment to charity of proposed 3rd party choice.

Having said that I see some good examples here.

Thanks gentlemen, all very good from each of you but the wife and myself both thought (from just what we can see posted) that hawkeye has the right of it with the eye seeming more correct.

Hawkeye, could you please send an estimate on working on the large file to this email address please: waaldous@gmail.com

Wish I could reward you all!

Cheers everyone.

Sent you a PM with my email.
By the way, I see no need for a larger file. The 19MB files is 2400 PPI, resizing to 300 PPI for printing yields a size of approx. 24 X 38 inches.
