Dear Friends,
I just upgraded to CS3. I can't figure out how to select the type of paper I want to print on in the printer dialog box. For example glossy, matte, photo, etc.
Thanks for your help.

This is CS5 but as I recall CS3 is about the same. Set the color handling to Photoshop Manages Colors, then select the paper from the printer profile dropdown. If you need to change paper size etc., click on Print Settings... |

Thanks for your response.
There are no "paper profiles" in my list. There are profiles that seem to be for a job you are sending to a printing company, but none for the type of paper you would use in a home printer. _________________ Thanks for your help,

Thank you for your response. When I was looking for the answer to your question I found the answer to my question . The setting I was looking for is hidden in a drop down menu in the print dialog box.
What Photoshop and most large applications need is a search function for menus, commands, etc. not files.'
