i think it would work using the ( selective color tool ) by getting the white .. and adding some yellow ... and getting other colors and raising the yellow to ..

There are many different methods you could use. A lot depends on the image you are trying to edit as the best method wont always be the same due to different exposures and a list of other variables. I think the easiest place to start would be Images/adjustments/photo filter/sepia.
You can play with contrast and brightness a bit as well. If you posted a sample of the pic you want to edit I`m sure someone would point you in the best direction.
