You might experiment by adding some layer styles, like drop shadow, bevel/emboss, and/or changing the colors. There are plenty of free fonts if you search the internet too.

If this is for the app logo, you might want to consider that it's going to be fairly small, so the text might not be legible at such a small size.
I do like the style of the logo, though.

If it was my piece, I'd make that type jump out like a mugger in the night. You have a very nice design, I love it, but the circle is mostly empty. You might consider making that type your main focus as I'm assuming that's your logo. Also, the new font you chose is fairly relic looking. I'd go for something hot and powerful, yet streamlined.
Check out the following fonts, I think they'd fill your design nicely:
Eras, Zelda, Century Gothic, coolvetica, to name but a few...

Ahh darklite, making me laugh out loud and giving good advice at the same time!
As has been discussed there are some changes that need to occur. You will also have to bear in mind what your logo will look like when it's an icon on the iPhone, I would be tempted to go for a bold symbol based logo with the logotype separated/apart from the logo for usability across platforms. Just my 10cents mind.
