Hi again darklite, once again a really nice work. What techniques do you use? and is it just Photoshop? (presume it is).

Again the hair is a work of art in itself, skin tone may be a little off, but in truth I don't know the subject or the reference photograph. I also really like the subtle freckles.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I sampled the skin tone from the photo I worked from. It was a great pose, but really flat in color. America is Chicana, so her skin's a bit darker, but not super dark. Yes, it's all photoshop.

My main techniques are: the pen tool, lasso tool, airbrush, and tons of layers.

For the hair, I rely heavily on motion blur, liquify, and the pencil tool. One section of hair alone can have up to 20 or more layers that get merged together. It's very simple and easy to do, it just takes a lot of step-and-repeat.

This one took about 18 hours. My previous piece "Nikki" took a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, they take so long due to all of the layering. Thanks though.
