I have dabbled in photoshop a bit, enough to have created a business logo that I have used for both receipts and a web page I'm working on. I have run into an issue however, wanting to make this big enough to fit a poster size backing, for a business sign. The sign will be made for the front of my booth, at an upcoming business exp event. The image I currently have, is only 77.3 kb in size, and I am told that to blow it up to a size for a sign, it needs to be at least 10 to 12 megabytes in size. Otherwise at 77 kb, it will be so pixelated, it would look rediculous. So, I can recreate the image file, but do not know what settings to create a new image at. Width, height, color RGB, etc. I don't even know where to start with all the settings when you create a new project. So that's it in a nutshell. I am using Photoshop CS v 8.0. Thanks

Typically printing would require 300 dsi resolution.
One option would be to select the size you want with say 10" by 5" , resolution 300 dpi.
At any rate, it would be preferable to have a larger image to begin with, as it would be easier to reduce a larger image rather then to enlarge a smaller one. _________________ Pavel
