|
|
I'm having problems with the cropping tool in CS4.
1. Unlike CS2, the bounding box does not show.
2. Once I select an area to crop, I cannot adjust the area because there is no bounding box.
3. I cannot select the area to rotate because there aren't any points around the mysteriously missing bounding box.
4. Photoshop crashes often if I try to reselect the area that should have a bounding box.
Should I reinstall? I purchased the set with Illustrator and Premiere and those programs are working very well. It's just Photoshop seems broken.
Please advise. |

Welcome to the forums. This is only a guess but have you got it hidden? (Ctrl+h)
Short of that or resetting Photoshop preferences I'm stumped for the moment. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

If you haven't already, try updating your video drivers before you do anything else. |

I was told to dump the Photoshop.plist file from the Preferences folder, but when I did that, my CS2 started to act weird. Now CS2 cannot save JPEG files. |
