I want to create a background to use on my board. It will be shades of green with various size currency symbols placed randomly throughout. None of the symbols or the colors are supposed to dominate the graphic as it is only a background for text and/or other graphics and buttons.

The currency symbols will include U.S. dollar, Japenese Yen, British Pound, Euro, and perhaps a few other less popular ones.

The board is related to trading the Forex markets worldwide.

Not being a graphics expert or very artistic, I just thought I would fish for suggestions. I don't want anyone to get too deep into it but just help me get started.

Thanks

That is the idea. Of course, the color is too dark and the symbols are too packed. but that is a start for developing it.

I thought that varying the size of the symbols and their crispness might look good. You know, some lighter, some darker to give a multi-dimensional effect.

Where can I get the various currency symbols, or do I have to create them myself.

Yeah, we could split it off into the Tutorials forum, if that would be alright. :)

Ohh.. that is a difficult one..

Maybe:
Interesting background while only using one symbol?

Maybe not..

I don't have my hat of creativity on for the moment..

Call it creating backgrounds with custom brushes or something similar.
