Please help
Using CS3, gave the file a bad name, I think(?) "pic4.5". Should have been "pic5" I'm sure.
Saved it heaps of times, now it will not open "cannot complete request because it is not the right kind of document".
Hovering over the file, I'm told "Type: 5 file". I tried renaming it, adding ".psd" on the end, ran out of IT ideas real quick.
Help appreciated, many hours of good work at stake.
(using Vista if that makes a difference)

That should fix it, I think you need to change windows vista settings before you can rename the file extension. Once extensions are visible you should be able to rename them.

You can also upload the file to mediafire, so the members here have an opportunity to look at it themselves.
