Bryan,
Thank you very much - I will attack it shortly...
A question for you, because this is not how I thought this problem would get solved....
When I first built the site in PS7 using the Vertical Slideshow 2 option, I modified the orginal files found in Presets > WebContactSheet > Vertical Slideshow 2 so that when I ran the Automate > Web Photo Gallery > Vertical Slideshow 2, it would create it correctly right then and there (I copied the original files and kept them in case I wanted to return to the PS7 default options for that slideshow).
Was I mistaken in assuming that the original PS CS files located in Presets > Web Photo Gallery > Horizontal Slideshow COULD be modified to spit out the pages correctly as I had done in PS7?
If I understand correctly then, every slideshow I create for each of my galleries will have to undergo the process you've outlined above... correct?
Thanks again for your assistance. Let me know about the question I posed above... |

Yeah you're right. I didn't think about editing the actual automation files. Let me give it a look. _________________ Best Regards,

Shoot - I should have made that clearer when I asked you for
" ... the files you've re-written to accomodate this - could I impose on you to make them available?
If I'm not mistaken, the only files on the what_is_a_probie.zip file are the ones PS CS generates to be uploaded to the site... "
That was silly - could have saved you a ton of work, I bet... |

Yeah I was a little confused on that one. Don't worry about it though, because I'll just make changes to the automation files and then give them to you. _________________ Best Regards,

Ok, so it turns out LiveRocker doesn't really need this information anymore, but I figured out the best way in the world to do this.
If you still have PS7 on your machine or have access to a machine with PS7 on it Navigate to this folder:
C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop 7.0/Presets/WebContactSheet
In there you will see the folders, "Vertical Slide Show 1" and "Vertical Slide Show 2". Copy them.
Then navigate to C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop CS/Presets/Web Photo Gallery. Now paste those two vertical slide show folders in there. They will now appear in you drop down list of web photo gallery selections in Photoshop CS.
Note: In LiveRocker's case, he would just paste his modified vertical slide show files in Photoshop CS's Web Photo Gallery folder.
This was much easier than we all thought, and I'm somewhat embarrassed that I posted that monstrous tutorial now _________________ Best Regards,

Sure. I really can't believe it was that easy. I'm not really even sure if it works. I didn't actually try to run it. I just moved the files on a hunch, and it worked! It appeared in the dropdown list with preview and everything just like in PS7. It'd be cool if someone could test this if they have time. _________________ Best Regards,
