|
|
Yes, I'm a Stargate Atlantis fan but I've been unsuccessful in getting the logo that the show has on their laptops. Therefore I've found the logo but I wasn't able to use Xara 3D to spin it for the screensaver I want to produce. It isn't a vector graphic.
So I scanned it into Photoshop CS3 and selected and saved it. Unfortunenately thats as much as I know and would like some help producing the vector graphic I need to take to Xara. The little I know has got me this far but I'm stuck, so I'd like your help please.
Thanks a lot
P.S. I tried to post an image but it was 269kb instead of the allowed 200, Perhaps if I upload it to one of my websites and inclued the address later, please advise on this if need be.

(url)http://www.mikesvideoclub.com/Logo2.gif(/url)
First off I uploaded the scanned image of the logo which was 35.4mb in size and took 5 minutes to upload. So I went back to Photoshop and saved the same graphic as a gif @ 3.99mb, the one above.
All this is turning into a major nightmare so I hope theres help out there for this problem.
Thanks.

Please don't think I'm not grateful for the help I get here, I copy and print every coment for future reference.
This .cdr format won't import to Xara 3D ( only WMF, EMF, XAR, WEB) But I am one step further down the road to getting where I want to be.
Thanks for your help.

You could download a trial version of corel draw and save it as something different. Just a thought.

Yep
I thought of that as well. I've got X4 and I'll save it in all the formats listed there. One of them must work.
Thanks.

Have a look at xara and see if it has an import option. It may let you import formats that it wont save as.
I did a quick clean up job on this but it was pretty rough to start with so to get it real nice will take some work.
