I have two logos from an event that I want to add to event photos. Logos have been saved as PNG files but yet I cannot apply them as transparent overlays to a jpg image..
Using CS4 with a imac...and slowly going nuts
Can anyone help? |

Assuming you know this already but just in case...The png file should have no background when it is saved. |

I'd love to know how you did that..and how I now apply it to a "background" print..

If you are working with the print you posted, you need to remove the white color. First alt+dbl click the background layer to make it a regular layer.
Use Select-Color Range and click on the white, use the slider to refine the selection. Delete the selection.
You should now have just the logo and no background. Save it as a png file.
When you want to add it to a picture open both the png and the picture, then use the move tool to drag the logo onto the picture. |
