hello

well i have a problem that's bugging me ever since i installed CS4 master collection, no matter which mouse button i click, left or right on menus, submenus always open. If i remember correctly they should only open on right click.

i googled and found 1 place where they also mention this
http://www.mogo-media.com/forums/showpos...ostcount=1

no cure there, nothing helped and this is only in Photoshop...
i've gone through PS options and couldn't find a thing that's useful and related to this...

Like i said this is only in photoshop, mouse works ok everywhere else.

I tried resetting options with Ctrl+Alt+Shift at startup, it didn't help...

few days ago i even deleted everything adobe related from my computer, the entire collection, all the folders and files i can find. And cleaned out my registry with CCleaner, and installed it again but the problem still remains.

anyone else had the same issue? Please help, everything else works fine, but it's really frustrating having to click 2 times in order to turn the menu off and then use the tool.

Bawling Bawling Bawling

I don't know if this relates to your problem?

If you are talking about the tools only, that is the way it works.

Two CS3 screenshots, one right click, one left click.

weird, so it's like that for you too?
do you maybe know how to change this, so that on left click it only selects the tool currently loaded, that it doesn't open submenus?

Perhaps I misunderstood you. My screenshots were for click and hold.
Without click and hold=Just a left click selects the tool, while a right click opens the submenu.

yeah you did, when i do a left CLICK, i repeat left CLICK it opens submenus, when it should only select the tool. So it's not a left click with hold, just left click. Thank you for your help, if anyone maybe knows how to break this behaviour....do share, and how can i contact adobe support, if someone knows a link so that i don't search i would be very grateful...
