Ok,

Im an Amateur model.

To keep overheads down i do all my own photo editing in PS8.

I was looking in a mens mag yesterday called Maxim and saw an actress from a soap opera called coronation street by the name of Jane Danson who is average looking.

However in the picture's she looked fab but very glossy and airbrushed.
Looking at the other girls in the mag i noticed all the girls have the same effect applied.

What is this effect and how is it done please.

Bye for now

Hi,

The improvement is good but the picture you got from the net was already touched up.

You see the effect im talking about on just about any cover of a magazine that has a model on it.

Its the air brush i think but im not sure.

The technique you are looking for is called "The Penthouse Technique"

Its a mixture of arirbrushing and general touch-ups, I have lost count of how many of these boring looks I have had to do for studios.
