Hello,
I need to clean up this photo as a gift for my father in law. It's so old and messy, I don't know where to start.. any suggestion - or if you are a wiz and want to save me 37 hours of photoshop time...have at it!!

Your pic is totally different as it's just patches I have had a go for you mainly using the clone tool not perfect but better...

I cleaned it up a bit more but all credit to Seaco as the original is very different looking to how it looks now.
