Goofy things are afoot!
EXAMPLES.......
- On 1st launching ps cs4, most menus are inactive. No Open. Open as, Open recent or just about anything else. Figured out if I do the keyboard commands things respond and then the menus are active (no longer gray).
- In Bridge, there is no longer any menu item under Tools to do Photomerge. I have to load all raw files into PS directlty via ACR. Very slow process.
- Crop tool no longer darkens the outer area to be removed when a selection is made.
- Making a selection of any kind does not display right away (no marching ants). Selection works...just can't see it. Sometimes I manage to somehow get the selection to display, but it shows as just a static dashed line.
- The mini preview icons in the layers pallet often just show the gray/white checker board.....but then will suddenly decide to display now and then.
What is going on?????
Nothing else on system is acting up, Just Photoshop.
