I have a landscape photo which has the dimensions of 20X12.7 inches. Resolution is 424.35 ppi.
I would like to have a print made of this photo using Snapfish.
However, when I submit it to Snapfish for a 16X20 print, Snapfish expands the image to fill the width. This resizing results in a significant loss from the ends.
I am looking for a way to trick Snapfish into printing the photo as a 16X20 with a trash border on top, bottom, or both. I can then cut off the border and get the 12.7X20 print I want. _________________ vince |

Copy or clone to fill the space needed to make the 16X20 size, then cut it off after printing. |

My problem is that I have no idea how to 'copy to fill the space'. Photoshop will not permit me to resize the picture to 16X20.
I do not need a step by guide. I just need to know a direction that will work. I can read a manual. I just have no idea where in a manual to look for a method. _________________ vince |

Resize the canvas to 16X20. That will leave blank areas which you can clone or copy into and later on cut off.
If you are still confused, post a copy of the picture and I'll try to help you. |
