Hey guys
I am having such a stupid time with trying to put text on my pictures.
When ever i select the tool, make the box and try to type the text nothing shows up.
Does anyone have a beginers text guide?

open the image..
it should be layer1, or background or something
click new layer (optonal)
make your text box and type in text
check on layers palette to see if the opacity/fill is 0%... it should be 100%
or.. maybe the text color you are using matches up with the color of the picture

Another problem could be that instead of the regular type tool you're using the mask type tool.. just switch between them.. When you're on the T from type tool, keep the pressure on your mouse button for a while.. you'll get a drop down menu.. now check that you don't have one of the two mask ones in use.

once again thanks guys................i think i figured it out.
