Hey people
Ok, as corny as it sounds i want to mess around with the simple matrix style screens.
The tutorial that im using is here http://www.good-tutorials.com/track/1360
My problem is this,
The first step says to "Make sure that your background is White, press 'D' on your keyboard to reset the colours. Now go to Filter>Texture>Grain, and use the settings: Intensity=100, Contrast=100, Grain Type=Vertical."
After i've opened a new screen with the settings when i go to filter and select "texture" the option is gray and it dosent allow me to select it!
When i have a actual picture in PS though, and i select the filter it allows me to use it.
What am i doing wrong. |

had the same problem your colors for the image are low, you need to change em around...go to image>mode>8 bits/channel, make sure that the 8 bits is checkmarked, if that doesnt solve it, i dunno |

Make sure you're working with an RGB document. Image -> Mode -> RGB
Why did you have to bring up a photo to see if it was an 8bit document? Could you not open the menu? What was the problem? _________________ Best Regards,
