|
|
Someone, please help me out with this one. I have been using CS3 for a while now to edit photos. Everything seemed ok until about a month ago. Now if I try to use either 'auto levels', 'auto color', or 'auto contrast' all it does is turn the image solid black. I am guessing I have some sort of preference or setting that could be causing it, but I can't figure out what. Has wnyone run into this before or have any suggestions? It is driving me crazy!
Thanks,
Stacy |

Just an fyi for anyone else that might be having this problem, I came to a resolution. I have wasted a lot of time and decided to go ahead and reset my preferences (if you go this route, proceed with caution if you have done some customization and have plug-ins, etc). But for me, it was easier to re-customize my settings and have my problem fixed so I could move on.
To reset your preferences in Windows, hold 'ctrl', 'alt', 'shift' down while opening Photoshop (I have CS3).
Hope this helps someone else! |

That particular fix has been known to correct a variety of PS strange behavior. |
