when I switch from RGB to sRGB as requested by our camera club so as to project images from a projector my picture which looked terrific in RGB now looks DULL and LACKLUSTER. Does this happen to everyone? what is the cure? I know itr is another color psace but wouldn't expect it ot lose all contrast and vivideness as it does. Any help or comments appreicated.

It's because the color range is a lot less... less colors. It's common. I don't know what you could really do other than re-edit the images after as sRGB and add saturation/contrast again. _________________ FREE PHOTOSHOP TUTORIALS: http://www.redpixelmedia.com

The solution is to NOT "ASSIGN' a profile with EDIT->ASSIGN PROFILE but rather to do a EDIT->CONVERT TO PROFILE and this works very well!!!
Thanks for your reply however.
