Great, most are pictures of people with dark hair on dark backgrounds.
Selecting the hair on some of those, is going to require some work |

Would it be worth finding other pics then that have contrasting backgrounds? |

Definately. When you have good contrast it's much easier to make accurate selections. Dark against a dark background is very difficult. |
