I have PE6, installed from a download on a DELL desktop running Windows XP. Recently when I've tried to launch PE6 from the desktop icon I've got the message "Photoshop Elements cannot start or continue because of missing file(s). Please reinstal". As I don't have a CD, how do I reinstal?
PE6 is also installed, again from a download, on my DELL 1721 laptop running Vista. When I try to launch on this machine the message "Adobe Photoshop Elements requires a screen resolution of at least 1024x768 pixels and color quality greater than 256 colours" The resolution is set at 1024x768 and the colours at the factory settings. What's this all about?
Any input will be appreciated |

Unless you have the disc or the installation file you can't reinstall.
It's a good idea any time you download a program, to save the installation file for just such a contingency. |

Thanks, Hawkeye.
Although your reply doesn't help me with the problems I have now, I'm sure the tip will be very useful in future |
