|
|
I have CS4 installed on a MacBook and on an iBook G4.
The iBook has a broken motherboard and I'm not going to have it replaced ($400). Since I can't get to the desktop, I can't delete CS4 from that computer. I know Adobe allows only 2 installations. Is there a way I can install CS4 on my new MacBookPro? The G4 iBook cannot be used in any way. I spent the last 2 days trying to contact Adobe customer support with no results. I've heard there is a way to install on a 3rd computer, I just don't know what it is. Actually it would only be a 2nd computer since the G4 is permanently broken.

The license from Adobe may be for a limit of two computers but there's nothing to stop you, other than your conscience, from installing it on any number of computers. Registering the product is another issue. |

I'll try installing again from the CD. I tried that first of all but not all the parts were installed. I did send in the registration number when I first got it.
Since CS4 is an upgrade, should i have installed CS3 and previous versions? I've upgraded since PS2. Maybe go back and install PS7? If I can find it! |

If it's an upgrade then I think you need to re-install CS3 first. |

Should I maybe go back and install PS7, then each version from there?
Installing from the CS4 DVD is not working. |
