I've had my copy of PS CS4 since it came out and never had any problems until today. I was working on a simple image and clicked the "Drop Shadow" checkbox in layer styles and it froze. I figured this happens so I restarted it and it happened again doing something totally different! I reset the Photoshop settings and it was fine for 30 minutes and it just did it again. Does anyone know what could possibly be doing this? |

Have you installed any new programs recently that would eat up your memory? |

Are you working on a non Intel machine? If so, you're running CS4 in Rosetta, which is prone to lockups and slowdowns. |

No to both. I haven't installed anything new recently and when I use Photoshop, it's the only thing running. There is also tons of room on my HDD.
I am working on an Intel Machine, it's the MacBook Pro 08 version |
