hey guys, i wanted your advice on something that i was working on.... basically i wanted to create a writing made out of a tree or leaves. i couldnt find a tutorial of what i wanted to do... so i tried real hard and i came out with this.

there are 2 letters C O but i really dont like how it came out. the other pic is me trying to add some spice to it, by adding layers and more textures to it.

but its a FAIL in general.

how could i improve!?

I'd add a little more spacing. Then add some additional letters to get a better idea of how it will look.

I think you're on the right track, myself.

I like what you've done so far. I prefer simple over complex, but that's just me.

ok... done... the word is CONTINUITY ... but i now see after finishing it, that it doesnt quite go with what i was looking for.

looks a bit bland and repetitive dont it!?

nonetheless it could come in handy for future work. although, i would really appreciate how you guys would improve in making this look much better and more "surreal".

maybe if i added this sort of effect with a perspective distance!?

maybe the shadding will add some more "humph" to it!!!

I agree with hawkeye. :) I think it's creative. I think, like he said, maybe some more spacing and definition would be helpful, especially on some of the characters, like the N and I. Cool stuff. :)

What I mean is mainly the space between the characters as they are really cramped up together. Hope that helps.
