I downloaded some new brushes, and I can't get them to load. I feel foolish but I was wondering if a greatful soul could tell me where and what exactly I need to do with these. Right now they are sitting on my desktop waiting to be used. I'm running PS 7.0

You need to put them in your brushes folder.

C:/program files/adobe/photoshop 7.0/presets/brushes

I think thats the right path.

That's what I thought, I put them there but it didn't show up, so then I put them in photoshop only but they don't show up in that folder either. Is there some special way you have to load them or should you just be able to see them once you've put them in the folder?

Try going into photoshop and selecting the brush menu. Go to load brushes and find the file. The brush file should not be inside the Adobe Photoshop Only file.

oybro 's suggestion seems the way to go, I'v also noticed that once there loaded in the brushes file, double clicking them sometimes makes photoshop notice them, otherwise you have to reload photoshop everytime you get new brushes

Probably a stupid question, but they aren't zipped or something, which would mean they can't show up?

If that isn't the case, could you provide the link, so we can try it for ourselves?
