Where do I get cool fonts to use? I noticed iDad always has good ones. Where do I get these from. |

This is probably a dumb question but, I went to the sites given and found fonts but dont know what to do with them so that I can use them! Where do I download them to? How do I get it where I can use them in photoshop? Help!!!! |

Ok. You need to find the link on the page that says Download font, no matter what font you want. Click it and choose save as. Now it is usually a zipped file for me. So you need to extract the files from the zipped folder. And then move the font to this location.
My Computer > C:/ Drive > WINDOWS > Fonts

Just download them to your desktop. If they are zip files extract them to the desktop as well. The go to start-control panel-fonts.
This will open the fonts folder, so all you need do is drag the ttf file into it. |

Ok, I went to the web site, clicked download win file on the specific font. It prompts me to open or save. I clicked save, it shows it is a zipped file, i tried saving it directly to mycomputer>c drive>windows>fonts but I dont find them in the folder once it completes.
I cant open it in photoshop either.
I also tried saving it in my documents and then moving it to the my computer>c drive>windows>fonts but when i drop it into the folder it says it is unable to install font it is either damaged or invalid!!!!
I still cant open in photoshop! WHat do I do? |

Download the zip file to your desktop. Right click it and select extract, choose the desktop to extract to.
You should now have a ttf file, maybe others too. The ttf is the file you will drag to the fonts folder.
When you're done, delete the files on the desktop. |
