The 1TB harddrive died, We got hit my lightning a few months back and I have been having problems ever since I finally tried to do a reinstall thinking it was an App ,or program (or even music mp3 causing problems, It turns out even running disc permissions wasn't catching the problem(lightning, I guess does some pretty crazy things to computers,
Anyway I will not be doing pictures till everything is straightened out with the newer computer.....But I will be checking in ;) Unless I install PS on here again, that could happen if I get the DT's bad enough LOL

Yeah that's bad news. I'm having the same prob, the boot drive in my vaio just died and now I'm back to using the old laptop. We got hit by a lightning storm a couple of weeks back, and I'm wondering if it's anything to do with that. Very frustrating.

Luckily I have all my important documents backed up, photos etc but I've just written a load of communication notes for a few videos on layers, and now they're gone. Not sure if to laugh or cry!

Anyhow, I sympathize with you!
