|
|
I recently moved to a Mac Pro and CS4. The printer profiles for one of my existing printers (Epson 4000) has disappeared from the profile choices in the Protoshop print module. In using the ColorSync Utility, i cannot find the profiles, except when I try to repair any profiles, I do notice a reference to the profile file stating that the tag size is not correct. Can anyone help me to resolve this issue. |

try this,
Go to the apple icon, top left, and choose "System Preferences" and look for you "print & fax" now click the little "+" to add a new printer, this will open a list of all available printers
Hope this helps _________________ For great Photoshop tutorials and freebies, check out www.iammrknowitall.com |

Salvadore, in "print & fax" the subject Epson Pro 4000 is listed as a printer, and I can use the printer, except not with any specific Pro 4000 ICC profiles. I did go into the Application files for Epson, and worked my way back to the ICC Profiles folder, but did not see any files for the Epson 4000. I think the files somehow have been deleted or misplaced. I am using OSX (5.7) operating system |

Go to Epson.com and download what you need as far as your model goes |

I have gone to the website, iDad, but I think the printer is old enough so I do not see anywhere to download any profiles for this printer. I have gone into the Library folder and have found where the ICC printer profiles which I previously had, are now stored. It is in the Library/Epson/inkjetprinters/printingmodule/pro4000_core.plugin contents/resources/ICC profiles folder. Unfortunately, Photoshop CS4 can't find it, though the application Lightroom 2 does seem to find it. I just need a way to direct Photoshop to the profiles. |
