Eh... I have a little problem! when I open a picture with my Photoshop (7.0), the picture turns really really really dark! and that makes it pretty hard to copy this man (because the background is dark, and when the picture turns even MORE dark, you cant see whats hair and whats background.):

I want to know, how do I solve the ''picture-getting-dark-problem''...does anyone know? or can someone maybe cut the guy out for me?

If you make a copy of the layer (for safety) and adjust the brightness and contrast you should be able to see a bit better. Then after you've cut him out, darken him back up.
Or, you could make a copy of the layer, adjust the opacity down to like 40 or 50, make a mask on the bottom layer, and cut him out that way. When you're done making the mask just delete the extra layer. _________________ Best Regards,

Just a thought, but it might also have to do with your color management. You might have a darker color profile set.
To find out just click on edti>color settings
Choose sRBG IEC61966-21, you should have it. _________________ Providing small business with high quality affordable websites:
