It's actually an inexpensive place to visit especially when you compare it to Europe. You really should check it out.
Depending on the time of year, you can do a two week trip for less than $2000 per person including international airfare, river cruise, most tours, and most of your meals. Dollars go much farther, an Egyptian pound is only worth about twenty cents American.
