|

Hi. I will translate, as my Photoshop it's in spanish. It says, as I can understand, that the primary virtual memory of Photoshop and the windows pagefile are in the same volume. This can cause reduced performance. And it's recommendable to configure the primary virtual memory of Photoshop preferable on a different fisical unit.
What, a CD?
In my PC I have a 180 gb HD split in two (C and D.
Tell me please what to do, or this is just an incompatibility between Photoshop and my PC.
Thanks a lot.

I believe if you could explain better, your problem, we could suggest some options to look into. As of now I read your post 3/4 times and do not understand, sorry |

heliosium,
This just means that photoshop will work faster for you if it could use a separate harddrive to work on your file. It's not incompatibility.
It's not necessary, most people, like you, only have 1 harddrive anyway.
However, if you want to make photoshop go faster, you can buy a separate harddrive and use that as your pagefile.
If you need any extra explanation on this or the other performance settings, I'd be happy to point you to videos that explain this for you. _________________ Did this post help you?
