Well, my friend and I decided to start a dance crew at my school. We only have him, another one of our friends and me. So we need to hold auditions. Me being a designer decided I could make the flyers and they agreed. Now everyone I've showed this to really likes it. But I would like to know what everyone here thinks. Thank you for your opinions and comments in advance! All the best.

Thanks for sharing. There are a couple of small details that I would look at. The first one being the word "House" bumping into the right border. I might shrink it/move it a bit.

The other thing would be the jagged edges on the dancers. If they could be smoothed/blurred a bit, that'd look good. :)

Hope this helps!

Patrick

Is this the "creating an alpha channel, and using a halftone effect" technique?
Excuse me if my terminology is wrong, I know what im on about haha!.
Or is the blue border type thing brushes?

I like the design though!

Kyenoone: I don't know what you mean by "creating an alpha channel and halftone effect", but the border i used a brush then added some splatter effects and threw a gradient over it. And thank you for your compliment! :)

I really like the idea...has a little oldschool look to it. I also like the font you used but it doesn't really stand out from the rest. Maybe you could make the text bigger like an announcement.
Excuse me for my english, I have no idea if I spell anything right.
