One day I was working on an image and by accident I changed the color of the document which surrounds the working area (don't confuse it with the white space where you normally work but the grey area which surrounds it just where you work. And also not the grey area which lies under the document but the grey area which is next to it on the same level with the white working space)
Can anyone help me?

I'm not on a computer with photoshop right now, but it sounds like something that would be in the preferences menu. Which is located under Edit -> Preferences.
Search around and see if you can find it.

Shift Click with the Paint Bucket Tool (G) in the area outside of the workspace to change it to the pallette colour.
I think the default is 75% grey. |
