For some reason this just started with photoshop in the last week or 2, but everytime I try to save something new (save as), I see the save option pop up and then hide itself and it locks up photoshop. I can never find the save popup but I can't get out of photoshop either without using task manager and manually shutting it down. Has anyone ever seen this? Anyone know what could cause this?
I'm using CS3 Extended version. 32 bit XP. I am using a UltraMon for my multi monitors and at first that was the problem because I just upgraded the version but I took that off and put back on an older version and it still is getting hidden. Any thoughts???

It may be some bugs on the upgrade version, try to save it as "Ctrl+S" shortcut for SAVE or "Shift+Ctrl+S" for SAVE AS and keep doing updates.

Actually it sounds like a windows issue, with the OS save box falling behind the PS window. I'm guessing PS isn't locked as such, it's just waiting for the OS box to be closed. Wherever it is! Have you tried clearing the desktop and then restoring the PS window and so on?
