Hey guys I was wondering if you could tell me how to make the writing look more realistic, maybe have the creases show through the text or something. Thanks for the help!

Is it just me? |

Yep. something up with my PC. Probably my firewall. I created a link to the image and did the ole "Save As" routine. It worked.
Maybe using a displacement map on your text so it looks like it bends with the paper. If you are unsure about Disp Maps, here is a tutorial where the instructor does pretty much what you are doing. http://www.planetphotoshop.com/crumpled-paper.html
Other than that, the tape looks a bit odd to me. It's flat smooth while the paper is wrinkled. Either the tape needs some contour or the paper needs smoothed out. The tape is not bad looking. don't get me wrong. Just a bit odd. Your typical viewer probably wouldn't notice. Some will. Just my opinion.
Regards,
Dave
EDIT: I am referring to where the tape is touching the paper. Not where it is adhered to the other surface. |
