Im trying to make a wallpaper for myself in Photoshop CS, so I made a new document with the dimensions 1028x1024. I was just planning on making it a compilation of several pictures, no cool effects or anything just yet. The problem is that when i copy and paste a picture into the blank wallpaper image , I cant change the dimensions of ONLY that picture. For instance, If i want to have 4 pictures on the wallpaper (one in each corner) I need to resize the individual pictures after copying them into the main blank image. I cant figure out how to do this, ive tried image > image size but that only adjusts the entire image dimensions. I realize that I may need multiple layers, but if its really that complicated to do such a simple thing i might as well use MS Paint.  |

dont ever use the bad word MS paint!
haha well edit - free transform should let you edit it, you hold down "shift" if you want the proportions to stay the same to keep it "unblurry"
thats an easy way of doing it

You can also select the move tool by pressing "v", then at the top tool options bar hit "Show Bounding Box" and size the same way tidal explained.
