Hi everyone!
I am in need of a company logo for a new small business which I am starting. I would like to make an initial offer for the .PSD to ballpark what I am willing to pay. If your work really stands out or looks more difficult than what others have done, I will certainly entertain a higher amount. I am familiar with Photoshop on the general level.
Let me first explain some details about the store. I will make the following description somewhat lengthy just so you have an idea of what the company is, what it is I am actually providing, and what type of people are buying the product. This is just in case it helps you to throw anything into the logo which I would not think about.
OK. The name of my business is LTS Video Systems. Or, www.LoseTheSpotter.com, which is the domain I purchased. My video systems are intended for a smaller market, that being the long-range rifle target shooting hobbyists.
What I sell are video cameras which are mounted on a tripod with wireless transmitter, to view bullet holes on targets at very long distances from your bench on an LCD. A spotter is generally a person who sits under the target in a trench to mark the holes, or who views with a more powerful scope to tell you where you have hit. When you use a video system for long-range shooting, you do not need a spotter anymore. Hence the name, Lose The Spotter (or LTS Video Systems). Catchy? I don't know. It was the best I could do.
So onto what is needed!
I am simply looking for a professional looking logo for this website. Not cartoonish but clean and elegant. I'm thinking maybe use some sort of graphical image in the logo to mix with the letters. I have no idea what would look good if such an object were used, but for instance maybe a camera silohuette on tripod (I would need to provide an outline shape), rifle shooter on a bench, target, rifle alone, scope reticle, or etc if you think it would spice up the look. Color schemes can be designed at your will. If you think the look is right, please do show it. As far as the complexity of the design, I'm open to anything.
I will start the offer at $40, Paypal if you prefer, and will go higher if it rightfully deserves it.
I don't have all the time in the world, but I will let this contest go until one logo stands out to me as "the one".

The link to your website is not working: Have you changed the name?
It would be helpful to view more info on the camera.
How about a slogan: "Loose the spotter: Go digital!"
You don't want cartoonish, I understand: Would you like a non-cartoonish animated image in .gif format though? It could be more demonstrative than a static logo..
