A budy asked me to do the graphics for a browser based game of his.

But after submitting my first piece of concept art (not in-game graphs) his reaction was pretty mild to say the least.

Since he was unable to provide me with detailled feedback other than "meh" I'm forced to turn to you people for some critique.

Truth is, could be it sucks royally. After working hours and hours on something I tend to lose all objectivity. ;)

Here ya go!
3mb file and thanks in advance for the feedback.

ps: (It's technically not strictly all photoshop. Models from poser 'n max, redone in PS and armor and background drawn in PS)

I think it looks interesting, but the monster has a different composition that the fighter. i.e. the fighter looks like a cartoon, the monster looks more "realistic." The monster looks kinda like an angry chocolate bunny. Big Grin ;)

Welcome to PF, MadAce! :)

Yea. The fighter and monster are 2 different styles. They were made in different ways too.

Funny easter bunny (or Donnie Darko?) association you made there. Big Grin I kinda thought it looked like a baboon with skin issues.

The baboon observation fits, as well. :)
