PLEASE HELP... l was using a preset brush. Not sure what happen but my tool bar show after l had used the brush l got swithced to the eraser and it changed my eraser to the preset brush l was using. How do l get my eraser working properly? l am using PS CS3... Thanks so much for your help! Jess

If I understand correctly all you should have to do is switch back to the default brushes (in the same manner you switched to the preset) and that should make things right

Thank you moondog... it was really late the other night when l wrote this and sorry l am still lost on what you mean. What l did was add some brushes to my pallet of brushes. l was using one of them and then when l was done l went to use the eraser and it was now turn into the brush l was using. This is what l need to know how to get my earser tool back to normal. l also need instructions on how to do this step by step as when it comes to changing things l am not sure what l am doing... thank you so much for your time on answering me. l hope someone can help me fast as l am in a mess without the eraser as l never realized how much l use this tool....

If you click on the eraser .... you see this?



and if you click on the preset picker you see this?

Hello moondog... l think l have lost my mind... l never even thought about that l think l need a vacation really bad.... That question made me look like a blasted beginner and l hate a admit it l am not. I want to blame it on to busy too much to do but not sure that is it LOL. Thank you so much for the help. You can also use that eraser tool with a custom brush to so "selective erasing". Enjoy.
