Maybe I'm giving the wrong answer, but on my CS2 version I use the alt key and mouse wheel together and zoom in and out ... does it NOT work that way in the later versions?

Hey guys,
As far as I know that option is available from the preferences under the edit menu. I think it's under general.

If you've got CS4 you may want to try using the Z key now, just hold it and it should zoom you in. Add the alt key and it zooms out.

Mouse wheel should be great too thinking about it as the preview is clear and interpolated correctly at any zoom ratio.

Good luck!
