I like the newer font .... not sure if that is what Patrick was talking about .... I'm thinking he might have meant something a bit more "curved" instead of the squared and angular look throughout.
Perhaps "Centaur" font might work a bit better for the text and match easier with the fonts for your navigation.
Just my thoughts
