i don't know if this has been answered already. i did some searching, but i'm probably searching the wrong terms or something...

anyway, i'm working on this one picture. it came originally like this: black and white, but some things are colored. an example would be the movie, Pleasantville, or Schindler's List, or the new movie, Sin City.

now, the problem is, i'm working with a black and white picture with some things colored red. the picture is somewhat dark, so the red isn't as noticeable in some parts. is there any way i can make this red more vibrant, or accentuate it?

thanks.

Try messing around with some of the sliders in Hue/Saturation and Color Balance. I can give a better answer if you post the image.

i tried playing around with them, but haven't exactly gotten anything nicer.

here's the original pic. it's from the trailer of Sin City. i noticed that some of the red is too dark and is just about black. i'm wondering if i could revive that.

sorry if it seems sick, lol. i find it cool looking.
