could you maybe explain how u do the lightning on the tree's? :)

Yeah very good. Just shows what can be done with a couple of standard images and loads of creativity!

Oh that was the easiest part...standard lighting effect....
filter, render, lighting effect.....set to spot light, and used a hot pink color. I don't remember the settings exactly...

that's amazing. i've hardly ever used filters besides gaussian blur. Nice work.

Well that was a little more complicated....
First off I painted in a water line where I wanted it. I wanted the water to appear much deeper so I had to do this. I used an almost black paint. Then I copied the upper portion of the pic....pasted it onto a new layer, flipped it upside down, and reversed it....I then set the blending mode to multiply, and adjusted the opacity of the layer....This gave it the reflection I needed....Then for the edges around the water I painted in white on a new layer, then used the smudge tool to give it a misty look. I also used the smudge tool on the reflection in the water to show slight movement of ripples.
