Hello there!
I know I'm new to the forum, but if anyone can help me out on this one I'd be so grateful!
The other day I was working on a project when I noticed that all the colours were really saturated, and nothing I did would sort it out. Everytime I opened a document the colours would be saturated no matter which file I opened. The whole colour palette seems to be affected, but when I preview the image when I 'save for web' the colours are normal! When I switch it over to imageready the colours are normal too.
I'm using photoshop CS. It's a weird problem, in my 2 years experience using photoshop I never encountered anything like it.
Here's a link to a page with some screengrabs:

Thanks again, this one's got me tearing my hair out. I just want to see if anyone knows anything about it before I resort to reinstalling it!

By the way, I did try switching from CMYK to RGB but the colours came out even more crazy... I've also turned off colour managment, and I've resetted my preference file but still no joy.

Did you ever fix this problem?? I'm having a similar problem with 7.0. Whenever I open an image, he colors are very saturated even pixelated in some places. And like you, whenever i save for web, the colors are fine! If you did could you let me know?
thanks! |

Are you both using a special edition of photoshop? Is there a U.K. version? It may be a bug with that release. Very weird, I've never seen anything like it. Have you both tried reinstalling? _________________ Best Regards,
