Hi,

I have, up until I got CS3 and the new aluminum keyboard, not had any issues with this.

I have numerous, common actions recorded which have F keys assigned to as shortcuts.

F10, which turns sound off in the OS on an aluminum keyboard, overrides my Photoshop shortcut.

I've lost my 12 or so most common action shortucts in Photoshop because of this! That is about a 5% loss in productivity... help!

Thanks
Antoine

Hey Antoinejo,

Have you tried System Preferences>Keyboard/Mouse>Keyboard Shortcuts?

Un-check what interferes with your Photoshop F keys.

Cheers,

bp

Well, I initially thought about that.

The thing is the F-keys shortcuts on my laptop keyboard are different from the F-key shortcuts on the new aluminum keyboard, and also different from my previous, plastic Mac keyboard.
Basically, the F-key shortcuts are dependent from they keyboard used, and not assigned by the System.

When I was using the plastic keyboard, the Photoshop assigned F-key shortcuts would take priority over the System shortcuts. That is not the case anymore with the aluminum keyboard...
