Hello All.
As it says in the subject I am a newbie to photoshop. I am using photoshop 7. What I need to do is whenever the image loads in the browser the background of the image (that white thingy) needs to be 100% transparent the rest of the image should be visible. Any ideas how to do this ?
Thanks |

Save the file as either a GIF (binary transparancy) or PNG (alpha transparancy). Most browsers still have problems rendering PNG's though so your best bet would be a GIF, just remember that transparancy is either on or off with GIF's. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

When I am saving it in GIF I lose quality of the image and I just can't afford it. I tried to save it in png format but for some reasone it doesn't work as intended, at least in IE 6. |

That was a very useful article. I would LOVE it if all browsers supported alpha transparencies, but sadly that is not the case... But just maybe...One bright day in the future...
difrad76: can you post the image you are working with and the background you're trying to place it on? Maybe there is another solution to this problem. _________________ Best Regards,
